Contests

We will be holding the standard NMRA contests at the convention and judging will follow NMRA National rules wherever applicable.

NOTE: We will NOT have separate categories for Scratch-built and Kit-built

The model contest categories will be:

Steam
Diesel and Other
Traction
Freight Cars
Passenger Cars
Cabooses
Non-Revenue Cars
On-Line Structures
Off-Line Structures
On-Line Display
Off-Line Display
Module

We will have a popular vote award that covers all of the model entries listed above.

The Chester Muszalski Award, sponsored by Division Six, will be given to the best steam entry in the contest as determined by representatives of Division Six.

We will also have a photo contest with the following categories:

Color Print - Model
Color Print - Prototype
B & W Print - Model
B & W Print - Prototype
35mm Color Slide - Model
35mm Color Slide - Prototype

In addition to the above NMRA judged categories of models and photos, we will have the following contest categories:
